Scholar Services

College Prep Workshops

These workshops are free and open to the public. Families, high school students, college students, and nontraditional college-bound applicants are encouraged to attend. This is a free service provided by the foundation to educate and prepare parents and students for college. Some workshops will also include guest speakers in areas such as, financial planning (college savings), financial responsibility (for teens), life planning, career coaching, study skills and other important areas.

Scholarship Awards

The Brewer Foundation believes that students need and deserve education beyond high school. A lack of money should not be an obstacle to a student striving to achieve their goals. The foundation will achieve this by providing the following;

  • Award scholarships provided by generous donors
  • Advise students and their families on how to save for and afford college
  • Reach out to encourage students who are under served or overlooked
Internships
Each summer the foundation selects one or two students for internship(s) with one of our corporate partners. The internship will assist the student in gaining valuable work experience. Additionally, the student will receive a stipend and professional development support. That support will include a new resume, government employment application tutoring, and paid membership into multiple professional organizations to gain knowledge of a prospective profession.
